Hello there! My name is Wendy Magee Guillaume and I have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years (my entire adult life)! I have been a certified American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Instructor since 1986 (I took their first test). I've been teaching group fitness classes since 1982. You name it, I've taught it!
In May 2013, I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
Throughout my life, my family and I have always loved to be active. Whether it is dancing, swimming, running, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, downhill and cross country skiing, paddle boarding, boogie boarding...I love it all. For me, exercise isn't about losing weight. It is just about having fun and staying active, so you can enjoy your life with your loved ones.
If you are interested in becoming more active and incorporating exercise into your life, I would love to find out what is right for you! Contact me today so we can get you on the right path to a more active lifestyle. I am available for a variety of personal training sessions and group fitness instruction in Maryville, TN and the surrounding area.
Your first session will be a fitness assessment and we will discuss your goals and determine your current fitness level. After this, I will design a personalized workout to fit your lifestyle, that takes into consideration your current condition, your specific health and fitness goals, and any special requests for strong results and safe outcomes. If you enjoy personalized attention or you have specific goals, one-on-one training is a great option for you.
Group training can help you elevate your fitness routine in a fun and energetic group setting. You get personalized small group trainings at less the cost of one-on-one training. Energize your exercise routine by working within a small group of like-minded people in a private setting. Get fit together by creating your own small group (up to 3 people) with friends, family and/or co-workers or joining an existing group.
WORKOUT WITH YOUR BUDDY
You'll not only spend time together, but you'll also stay motivated than if you were going through the motions solo. Research shows that 80% of people believe they're more likely to fit in workouts and stick to their routines if they partner up. Having a motivating exercise partner can help increase the chance that you will reach your fitness goals. Just like having a personal trainer---who can provide encouragement and motivation, monitor your progress, add variety, and make exercising more fun---having a workout buddy can increase the likelihood that you will stick to a fitness routine.
